the evening cleanup. it happens every night after the little grommit is in bed. my husband is THEE best at helping out with it. he's even calling it "his kitchen" now. these are articles waiting patiently until morning to be placed in their proper position in a sleeping grommit's bedroom.

you know how they do this whole blank page thing in books, and you're like....huh? well, i'm doing it.

for the record, what i initially though was teething....and then hand, mouth and foot disease...has turned out to be primary herpetic gingivostomatitis(PHGS). also for the record, i've never seen any human, young or old in this much acute pain for this amount of time. ever. and i'm really not one prone to dramatics. my child is miserable, and has been for six solid days now. she hasn't eaten for five of those days. several times i've looked over to find blood dribbling out the sides of her mouth and down her chin. horrific.

so in reverence and with respect for PHGS, i offer up this blank page. let's pretend i planned it this way, and didn't just neglect to take a picture today.

  1. I cant believe this update. I dont even have any words, I'm feeling bad right now for both of you. Blood coming out of her mouth, ouch! At least they know what it is,right? Is it contagious? I'm guessing teething will now be a breeze. How about I bring you a bang tomorrow? Anything else you need/want?
