don't ask. i guess there IS a difference between regular flour and cake flour. and don't think for one minute that some weird pregnant lady didn't sit and watch the banana bread bubble over and bake on the bottom of the oven....then proceed to get a spatula, scoop up the baked overflow and eat it. there is no pride left. and i enjoyed it.
